  could anyone scan page 12 of the august awake?

  someone told me that i look like the girl in the picture on that page but i don't know if they're just trying to trick me because they know i don't receive the mags anymore.

  i haven't let on that i'm not in the org anymore.

  I had a vague recollection of it somewhere in my mind but i couldnt be sure. But i've never look at it. The articles dont really interest me so much.

  Just got a phone call...

  my oldest daughter (who is currently up in ct) just called to tell me my stepmother (wicked witch of the west) was in an accident yesterday evening.

  she was riding a moped and crashed it into a parked car (don't ask me what an overweight 53 year old woman with bad knees is doing on a moped but whatever...supposed to save on the cost of gas or something).

  anyway...she shattered her right leg and wrist in the accident (her good walking side) and apparently will never be the same.

  what happeded to all of the people between the time that jesus was on the earth until russell?.

  if the gb is god's only means of communication, then how did those people receive instruction during their time period?

  are they now all lost forever?.

  ok, so i have been thinking about my time as a jw (i'm fading out - read my other posts for background info).

  you know how you always hear how the ministry will bring so much joy and contentment, yadda yadda yadda?

  i always hated service...always!!

  What the hell are you lot on about…… There was loads of joy. I think that you need to think about what that joy really was.......

  "Consider it all joy, my brothers, when YOU meet with various trials" (James 1:2).

  So if you were having a real shit time…..there was your joy…….

  Loss of hope

  how do you deal with the fact that you no longer have the hope as jw does?.

  i've difficulties reconciling with the fact of growing old etc.

  and not knowing what will happen.... thanks.

  It subsides after a while, and you realise that the hope was artificial.

  Focus on the life you have now and do the best with it you can. Not wishing to sound negative, but, we may never be here again…….

  Although don’t stop hoping or searching, if it means that much to you. There are no definite answers…..

  What is so bad about sleeping forever anyway? Beats getting up for work in the morning……!!

  My Marriage just ended I feel so sick and stressed please help me. Serious.

  my wife and i split from the witnesses about 2 years now....and now she says we need a divorce asap!

  she doesn't want to work thru it.

  lately and for awhile she has been amazingly aggressive to me.....and pretty much everyone else she knows.

  I have never been married so I can’t give advice, but just to say I’m really sorry for the distress your in…..Can't imagine the pain right now....
